Yesterday he started block two. They also have phases while they are there. There are 3 phases. Phase one they have to stay in uniform at all times outside of their dorm room, they can't leave base and they have a curfew of 10:00pm on weekends. Phase 2 they can wear civilian clothes, leave the base only in uniform and have a curfew of 12:00pm on weekends. And phase 3 they can wear civilian clothes, go off base in civilian clothes and stay in a hotel or apartment. So, right now Jeremy is in phase 2 which he will be finishing up and going to phase 3 next Monday, which is perfect because I'm moving to Mississippi next Wednesday and I will be driving 3 days with my parents and getting there on Friday and Jeremy will be able to stay the weekend at my apartment. Yay! I'm super excited!!
If everything goes smoothly with his classes and he doesn't have any breaks in between blocks then his expected graduation date is Sept. 3rd and he will be able to go home on the following Monday Sept. 7th which is my 21st birthday. What a great birthday present! =]
We still don't know where we will be stationed yet. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will find out. I'm very excited!

How do you know he won't be able to come home until the 7th? Mark graduates August 26th, but they haven't told them ANYTHING about.. well, anything. I'm assuming he can come home on the 27th. Lisa's husband came home the night he graduated. But he was coming from LA, so there are night flights. Mark is in a teeny tiny town with an airport that stops flying at 6:30pm. ahem. sooo I'm hoping he can come home the 27!
ReplyDeleteIm thinking we need answeres Shannon!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd for you Steph..FIND OUT WHERE YOUR MOVING ALREADY LOL
That's just what they told him I guess. Not sure why, but it's different for everyone, so Mark might be able to come home earlier.
ReplyDeleteI know! I wish they would just tell us already, it's getting annoying!! lol
YaY! Great B-Day present!
