My first time hosting a party...

I'm so excited! Tomorrow I'm hosting a New Years Party! My very first one. I've invited a bunch of military wives and there husbands over to play some games, hang out and just have a good time. I'm a little nervous since this is my first time, I just want to make sure I keep everyone entertained! lol
We'll probably play some wii, oooo I never mentioned that we got a WII for Christmas from my parents! I love it, so much fun! Then when we got home we bought a wii fit plus, even better! =] It's so addicting and fun but also a great work out! If you don't have one I highly recommend it!
So, let me tell you about my Christmas! Jeremy had 6 days off of work so we drove down to Southern CA to visit our families. We spent Christmas eve day with my grandparents and that night we went to Jeremy's parents, it was a lot of fun. We got Jeremy's little brother a Nerf gun, he loved it! And we got our niece Melanie two barbies. Then Christmas day we spent with my parents, brother and his girlfriend/my best friend Kelly. We got my mom and dad a digital picture frame, they really liked it. :-)
Saturday Jeremy went shooting with his dad, uncle and grandpa so I had a girls day and got my toes done with my mom and Kelly..ahhh it was so nice! Much needed! :-)
I totally feel like I'm writing in a diary right now. Haha!
Anyway, Sunday we went to my parents church and then to the movies to see Avatar (weird movie but really good) and then headed home on our 6 hour drive. Jeremy had Monday off so we took down Christmas decorations, played some wii and relaxed. We had a great 6 days!
Hope you all enjoyed your Christmas as well!

Visit to my sisters

Today we drove an hour up to Rocklin to visit my sister and family. We haven't been up that way in about a month so it was nice to see them again. I really missed my niece and nephews. We spent the day there and went to Origin which is a church my brother in-law started there.
Here are a few pictures from our day.

We bought the two older kids Coco-nutty monkey play doh for Christmas.

Kian liked it too.

Brody was giving Kian a back massage. Lol

Kian liked wearing uncle Jeremy's shoes. Look at that cute little smile!

It was a lot of fun! Can't wait to go down to Southern CA on Tuesday night to see my parents, Jeremy's parents, sister and niece and little brother. =]

So sad....

I haven't written on here in almost 3 months...so sad. I really want to start blogging more but I have a hard time with words. Lol.

So, let me update everyone...
Jeremy graduated tech school on October 1st, then we left Mississippi and headed to Arizona where we stayed with my sister for a week, then we continued on our journey to Southern CA where we visited our parents for a week. We then headed to our first base, Travis AFB in Northern CA.

We stayed in TLF (temporary living facility) for ten days and then moved in to our apartment. We've been here for about 2 months now and love it! It's so nice to have all of our furniture and things back, and our cat. We really missed Oreo since he's been living with Jeremy's family for the past year.

A few weeks ago I joined the TESC (Travis Enlisted Spouse Club). It's a great way to get involved on base, volunteer and meet new girl friends. I've met so many since I've been here it's been so awesome, since I'm currently not working it's been really nice having friends to hang out with while Jeremy is at work.

2 weeks ago was the TESC Jingle Mingle, it was a lot of fun and the first time I met all of those girls. A lot of the other friends I've met here have been on Facebook.
Also one of my good friends is Kelsey, her husband works with Jeremy. It's nice knowing another wife who's husband works with him so we can talk about there job a little easier...even though most of it we don't understand. Lol

Anyway that's a pretty quick update on us!
Jeremy has six days off for Christmas so we will be heading down to So Cal. I haven't seen my parents in two months so it will be nice to spend sometime with them again. =]

Only 5 more days...

Well we are down to just a little over 5 days left until we leave Mississippi! Everything is packed up and ready to go. I can't wait to get out of here, I will miss my friends but definitely not this state. I can definitely tell you I am a West Coast girl! I'm so happy to be going home. =]

Also Jeremy is now officially an Airman 1st class!! He sewed on his two stripes today and we get a small raise! I am so proud of him, I never in a million years thought he would be in the United States Air Force but I'm so glad he decided to join. I know it will be a hard life but he's doing this for us.

Tonight we are going out with some friends to enjoy our last weekend here. We're going to The Shed for dinner and laser bowling afterward. I'm going to take pictures tomorrow and hopefully post them tomorrow.

What's goin on...

Well my 21st Birthday was on Monday! Woo hoo! I had a great day with Jeremy, we went to lunch at Applebees. I had my first alcoholic drink..a strawberry daiquiri..yum! I'm so glad he got to spend the day with me since it was Labor Day and he had the day off. =]
I talked to the housing office at Travis AFB and they said the wait for a house is 6 months to a year. So, I'm a little bummed about that but I'm going to stay positive and were going to find a great place off base for the time being and then eventually live on base. I'm really excited to get back to the west coast, I never thought I would miss it so much until I was all the way over here in the South. I'm so thankful that we got Travis AFB, California. I'm so excited that I'll be able to watch my niece and nephews grow up. Even if we only get to stay there for a few years, it's better than none!
Well I don't have much to write because life is pretty boring right now. I'm ready to get to our base and settle down again as soon as that happens I should have more to write.

Leave some love!! ;)

It's been forever!!!

I haven't written in here since June, I figured it was time. =]
So, Jeremy and I just found out yesterday we are getting stationed at Travis AFB in Northern California. Right in the middle of San Francisco and Sacramento. I'm so excited! This base was number 1 on our wish list. It's only an hour away from my sister and her family and my brother Greg and his girlfriend/my best friend Kelly.
Jeremy graduates from Tech School on Oct. 1st and we will be leaving Mississippi on the 2nd. We're heading back to Southern California for a week or two to spend time with our family's before we go to our base.

Anyway, this weekend is Labor Day weekend and we are going to Atlanta, Georgia to see a Braves game. We are going from Friday-Sunday and then Monday is my 21st birthday. Yay! I'm super excited. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for my b-day but I'll probably go out with some friend the following weekend. :)

Well, I'll try and update this more often. =]

Update on Jeremy...

So, I thought I would just give a little update on Jeremy. He is at Tech School right now in Mississippi. He has been there for a month now and he's loving it. He is in classes right now for Air Traffic Control, he's really enjoying it the classes. There are 5 blocks during tech school, the first few blocks are about 8 days or so and then they get longer. In each block they learn something different. Jeremy just finished block one, he got a 92% on his test. I'm very proud of him. He is trying to go for Honor Grad just like he got at Basic Training. He's very smart so I know he can do whatever he puts his mind too.
Yesterday he started block two. They also have phases while they are there. There are 3 phases. Phase one they have to stay in uniform at all times outside of their dorm room, they can't leave base and they have a curfew of 10:00pm on weekends. Phase 2 they can wear civilian clothes, leave the base only in uniform and have a curfew of 12:00pm on weekends. And phase 3 they can wear civilian clothes, go off base in civilian clothes and stay in a hotel or apartment. So, right now Jeremy is in phase 2 which he will be finishing up and going to phase 3 next Monday, which is perfect because I'm moving to Mississippi next Wednesday and I will be driving 3 days with my parents and getting there on Friday and Jeremy will be able to stay the weekend at my apartment. Yay! I'm super excited!!
If everything goes smoothly with his classes and he doesn't have any breaks in between blocks then his expected graduation date is Sept. 3rd and he will be able to go home on the following Monday Sept. 7th which is my 21st birthday. What a great birthday present! =]
We still don't know where we will be stationed yet. Hopefully in the next few weeks we will find out. I'm very excited!
